Bobby Robson, left, and Willie Leonard of Longfellow Middle School in La Crosse track hooded mergansers near Shore Acres Rd. The school is in a partnership with the United States Geological Survey (USGS) that will ultimately help the organization breed the birds. Leonard and Robson will continue tracking the hooded mergansers until the end of June.
