Do you like Mark Russell PBS comedy specials? You don't? Too bad!

What a tragedy.

Because I don't have cable TV, and because I was really bored and had nothing else to do besides watch TV, and because I refuse to watch reality shows, and because reality shows were on four of the five channels I do get, I was forced to watch a Mark Russell comedy special on PBS last night.

For those who don't know, Russell is a musical political humorist. He plays piano songs, using really lame political jokes as lyrics. He also wears a bowtie. My dad once told me he never trusts a man who wears a bowtie, and now I understand why. Listen to this "hilarious" Mark Russell audio clip. He's singing a "funny" song about cardinal law.

I had to listen to this horrendous garbage for a full thirty minutes, and now the crappy songs are stuck in my head. But if I have to suffer, you're going to suffer as well. The only way to get these puke-inducing melodies out of my brain is to create some of my own, and that's exactly what I'm going to do. So without further ado, I present my very own piano-laced political humor:

"John Ashcroft has leprosy"

"George W. Bush's ragtime wang song"

"The Bush daughters are sluts"

I'm very interested in pursuing a career in lame, mamma's boy comedy, so be sure to e-mail me and tell me how I compare to Russell. If you don't want to write to me, you can just kiss my ass instead.
