April 3, 2003 This comic was not accepted by the Reader Weekly, because it's a little contradicting. Some of our comics aren't the greatest, either, so the editor thought it was best not to make fun of everyone else's comics. This mock comic is spoofing a comic in the Ripsaw, the other alternative-weekly paper in Duluth, Minn. In my opinion, "House of Twaddle" is the worst comic since Fred Basset. It's created by two brothers who come across as stoners. I'm not sure if they are stoners, but their comic doesn't do much to counter the theory. These two guys also write a column each week, where they talk about conspiracy theories and other "scientific" things. By "scientific" I mean "paranoid". JFK is an often-used topic in their column.
