Afraid not. The first word we'll hear of this is not from some dude's blog.

WTF is this crap?

Paul: Sigh. Why does everyone label everything on the net that isn't a corporate website a "blog"? I write a daily humor column. This is a blog.

2004-01-12 01:57:18 AM      Peaceboy

And by "afraid not", I don't mean I wish her dead. I'm speaking to the cmaroonibility of the submitter/blogger, of course.

Unless that dude is sleeping with GHWB, I agree with the no way in hell assumption.

Paul: I am sleeping with GHWB, but the column is still fake.

2004-01-12 02:00:49 AM      Logweasel

I think somebody just wanted attention.

Paul: Ding ding! We have a winner!

2004-01-12 02:01:09 AM      dal

Perhaps he is loading entries for selected events. He just missed the "saddam captured" headline and is trying to gain ground

2004-01-12 02:03:21 AM      etymxris

Maybe I'm apt to be taken, but this sounds sincere. Maybe he has connections we don't? On the other hand. This is way too well prepamaroon for breaking news.

2004-01-12 02:05:26 AM      wrestlegirl

Can't find anything about this anywhere, and I even flipped thru the teevee news channels. If it were true, I think it'd be on the wires real quick. I call shenanigans.

2004-01-12 02:05:35 AM      StomachMonkey

It's not even on Drudge or MSNBC yet, how could this guy have a prepamaroon statement that no one would know about?

Paul: Just because everything Drudge prints is blatantly slanted towards the right doesn't mean he'll get all the ring-wing news first.

2004-01-12 02:07:39 AM      chompers66

There goes my faith in the internet...

Paul: That should be the new slogan for my site.

2004-01-12 02:10:31 AM      DrToast

He's not presenting it as a joke, he seems sincere, but the fact that this guy could break such a news story seems rather difficult to believe.

2004-01-12 02:11:00 AM      etymxris

Maybe the news sites are holding this out of respect for the family. It's happened before. And being a political nerd maybe he heard of it from someone who has first/second/third/nth hand knowledge of it. I'll keep an eye out for this story.

2004-01-12 02:11:35 AM      RocketMac

Bah, this is bulllllshiat!

/goes back to lurking.

Paul: I'm glad to see Fark covers all areas of the globe, and includes members who not only speak in a cockney accent, but type in it as well.

"There goes my faith in the internet..."

You had faith in the internet? o_0

BULLSHAIT! Prove me wrong ;)

2004-01-12 02:22:02 AM      Logweasel

Oh, BTW, from all accounts Barbara is -not- a pleasant person.

Paul: From what I've heard, this is true.

2004-01-12 02:24:56 AM      eldoce

liar, liar, pants on fire!

2004-01-12 02:25:35 AM      stark23x

You don't have to be pleasant to be a great woman.

Paul: This is also true.

2004-01-12 02:29:16 AM      dal

Can't you be greatly unpleasant?

2004-01-12 02:35:38 AM      reedster

January, 2003, folks.

Move on.

2004-01-12 02:35:57 AM      kolacky

She was my favorite Farkette.

RIP

2004-01-12 02:37:56 AM      stark23x

Look at the previous entries. All recent comments are dated 2004. I think his "First Published" script is in error, all his January entries are dated 2003 while the comments are all 2004.

Paul: My publishing year was off. Thanks for pointing it out. It's been fixed now.

2004-01-12 03:05:00 AM      mtbhucker

it's crap. the names of the brothers are wrong (except for jeb)

Paul: Hooray! Someone actually did some research!

2004-01-12 03:07:51 AM      shaunklink

if you trust dear old goolgle, then this is complete horse hockey

Paul: What exactly is horse hockey? Is that a reference to horses having extra long . . . parts? Never mind, I don't wanna know.

2004-01-12 05:28:46 AM      NVM

Logweasel- I have a friend that met Babs Bush and said she was the biggest cunny on the face of the earth. Mind you - this guy also met Gwyneth Paltrow, Shannen Doherty and J-Ho. That's pretty tough competition according to him.

2004-01-12 06:15:20 AM      The Gunslinger Roland

Maybe he murdemaroon her

Paul: This is my favorite comment out of all of them. Kudos.

2004-01-12 07:36:13 AM      CineKal

He really shouldn't put his picture up there.

Paul: Why, does it turn you on? Pervert.

2004-01-12 07:50:52 AM      Stompn_Tom

Barbara Bush and those perls....now that is a find piece of arse

Paul: If you write a 500-word column about this subject, I'll print it. No, seriously, I will.
